Cleaning & disinfection

Whether in a hospital, in a public swimming pool building or for the equipment in a laboratory, cleanliness has always been a priority in any hygiene facility. Also in many public institutions such as schools or kindergartens and not least in private households, the adherence to high hygienic standards has increased significantly since the beginning of the Corona pandemic. The GLORIA handheld sprayers of the Profiline range are valuable helpers in this times when applying sprayable cleaning agents and disinfectants in order to contain the spread of the corona virus in the coming months.

In the household as well as during office work, in addition to classic hygiene measures such as regular hand washing, the cleaning of frequently used surfaces such as door handles, desks or even work surfaces in the kitchen must be taken regularly. The GLORIA hand sprayers of the CleanMaster EXTREME series are ideally suited for applying cleaning agents and (rapid) disinfectants. The devices are made of highly resistant materials and are equipped with FKM seals that withstand contact with aggressive media at all times. In addition, the applied media are sprayed constantly and evenly. An efficient and economical use of the media is guaranteed.

The two fine sprayers CleanMaster EXTREME EX 05 and EX 10 (0.5 and 1.0 L filling capacity) are equipped with a double-acting precision pump, one pumping action triggers two powerful sprays. During application, it is essential to ensure that the treated surface is kept moist for at least 30 seconds. Quick disinfectants based on alcohol are only effective as long as the surface is moist.

For the treatment of larger surfaces with disinfectants, GLORIA provides the user with the pressure sprayer CleanMaster PERFORMANCE PF 50 with 5.0 L filling capacity. A plastic spray lance with an acid-proof flat spray nozzle and FKM seals allow the application of acidic and alkaline cleaning agents with a pH value of 2 to 9.  

Thanks to the removable plastic pump, a disinfectant concentrate can be mixed with water in the device without any problems. The pressure sprayer is ideally suited for use in company buildings, schools or even outdoor and indoor swimming pools. Daily cleaning of changing rooms, sanitary facilities or large meeting rooms is useful here. Caution: Ethanol-based disinfectants are not suitable for larger surfaces, as there is a risk of ignition due to the vapours. Instead, agents based on so-called quaternary ammonium compounds should be used for this purpose; these are friendly to skin and material and at the same time odourless. 

When cleaning the surface, make sure that protective clothing such as disposable gloves or face masks are worn. Fill the sprayer with the correct dosage of the cleaning agent and apply it evenly over the entire surface to be cleaned. In hygienic cleaning, it is not only important to eliminate bacteria and viruses, but also to thoroughly remove impurities such as limescale or deposits, as these in turn provide particularly good adhesive surfaces for bacteria. Thanks to an adjustable nozzle, the GLORIA sprayers can be adjusted according to the application, so that surfaces can be treated with a wide flat jet and corners and joints that are difficult to access can be thoroughly cleaned with a spot jet.
